Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an app that can save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping function can help your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into wires, furniture or even stray toys. These are must-have features in my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and auto vacuum and mop, which is why it naturally comes packed with features. It's able to sweep and mop in one session and even raise its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from getting too damp. It also can avoid obstacles by finding pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum cleaners best vacuum we've tested to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on an object.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has an automatic mop lifting system, which will lift the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.

In addition it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and dried in the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it to forget about it. It is only necessary to replenish the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual vac- and mop-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've test.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only issue is that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features makes it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no tangling. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tried, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. Additionally it's not as capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's many high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to note that the mop pads, which are bought separately will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best rated robot vacuum robot vacuum and mop you can buy but its high cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a wish than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power and a huge battery capacity to power mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It has a mop with a roller that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the bot and is continuously filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping session before running out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands that allow users to select their own choice of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots that vacuum and mop. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my tests, but this may be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers many functions at a an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, and it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can clean manually all areas that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've created. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.

Like the other Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot the dangers of carpets that are thick, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be an issue for people who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can make use of the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces and dust that remained after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum keep its cleanness a bit higher than its less expensive competitors.
